Performances, gigs, theatre, dance, events; TOM – The Old Market, recently renovated, is a dynamic cultural venue just outside the city centre, on the Hove border. The main space is a 300-500 capacity room with the flexibility to showcase everything from rock bands to exciting new theatre or cabaret. Run by independent artists, TOM supports and develops new creative work, particularly with a digital dimension (companies such as 1927 and Marshmallow Laser Feast). TOM is also home to production facilities, a sound studio and art and photography galleries.
