BrightonCRO - 2014

First ever BrightonCRO meet-up featuring some excellent presentations on Conversion Rate Optimisation and User Experience (UX)

Brighton’s first dedicated Conversion Rate Optimisation meet-up.

We, the organisers, are just a couple of guys who work in CRO, who are truly passionate about the industry, and want to help others get into it, learn more about it, and excel at it. That’s our agenda, simple as that.

Come along to hear talks from some of the finest CRO and UX industry experts, network with the rapidly growing CRO community and get free pizza and drinks. Now, if that doesn’t sound like an evening well spent, you need to have your head looked at.

(We say “free pizza and drinks”, that’s actually what the £5 fee is for)

We’ll have four talks at the event from some of the best brains in conversion rate optimisation, data analytics, and UX:

Craig Sullivan, Optimizer in Chief, The Independent

Craig’s a User Experience champion with a wealth of experience gained working with high street retailers and leading brands. His skills base includes UX, Usability testing, web analytics and multi-variate testing.

Tai Rattigan, Head of Partnerships EMEA, Optimizely

Tai loves data driven decision making and heads up partnerships in EMEA for Optimizely, which means finding the right technologies and service providers to work with to improve their ecosystem. And he’s a second generation Brightonian!

Julian Erbsloeh, Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, Fresh Egg

Julian spearheads the analytics and insight services at Fresh Egg. He’s GAIQ qualified and has a great deal of experience in providing conversion services to clients.

Adam Lee, Managing Director, No Pork Pies

For nearly five years Adam has been the Managing Director at No Pork Pies, a research-lead user experience and on-going conversion optimisation company.

After the event we’ll have some networking and general chinwag time. Then you can go home…at least 10% smarter than when you left it*.

If you have any questions about the event, please email [email protected] and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Arrival instructions

Our doors will be open from 6:30, with the first talk starting at 7pm. If you arrive before 7pm you can access International House via the main entrance on Queens Road (directly outside Brighton Train Station – first doorway on the left outside the taxi rank). If you arrive after 7pm you will need to come to the rear door of the building which is on Frederick Place opposite the ‘graffiti wall’ on the side of The Prince Albert pub.
During the event and after, please exit via the rear entrance (the main front entrance is closed after 7pm and if you did try and exit the building that way all sorts of alarms and chaos would ensue – police men and all!!)
