Coder Dojo Brighton is where you can come and learn how to create on your computer, to programme on it - and know how to control it (rather than it control you)! We are a group of volunteers who want to help the next generation of coders start off in life and careers with a big advantage, in what ever you choose to do.
For this special Brighton Digital Festival session, we are the guests of iCrossing digital media marketing agency, in a wonderful central Brighton location. Normally we meet every 2 weeks in the Huxley Building of the University of Brighton.
Come and talk to us about what you'd like to do with your computer, and our mentors can hopefully help you with a project or to understand better what you are doing. We have expertise in Scratch, GameMaker, Unity, html, Javascript, Python, Scala and more and we also have demonstrations on some of the latest technology e.g. Virtual Reality.
Some of our regular users will be there to show you what we do. We also welcome new mentors.
6-16 year olds (accompanied by parents if under 13) with a laptop. You can drop in anytime during the day.
