Exploring Senses and Pop-up Brighton are joining forces to create a unique Maker Lab and Art Gallery experience located on Brighton seafront in a double archway next to British Airways i360. In the archway, we will be providing activities, events, exhibitions, and performances combining hands on making, arts, crafts, digital, science, music, fashion, and film.
At the archways during BDF17 Exploring Senses are premiering our new digi-textiles printing and augmented reality workshops. This is an opportunity to turn the Toy Hack and Digital Mutations you make into a t-shirt you can wear or tote bag you can use for daily life. Plus we are now able to provide low-cost digital screen printing.
You can also take part in an Exploring Senses 'Land of Make Believe' mobile maker labs in Brighton and Hove Public Libraries, funded kindly by the Brighton Digital Festival 2017 Education Commission. Also visit our 'Land of Make Believe' exhibition at Jubilee Library, showcasing digital arts and crafts experiments made by Exploring Senses artists, providing a visual insight into the types activities and artworks you can make at our mobile maker labs.
Address: 76-81 Kings Road Arches, Brighton, BN1
The seafront archway will be open most days of the week between the hours of 10am-9pm.
