Brighton Digital Festival is an ambitious month long celebration of digital culture, taking place in 2017 from 15th September – 13th October. The Festival provides an ideal platform for a community led programme with an eclectic mix of individuals and organisations from the cultural and digital sectors getting involved and organising outstanding events. Last year, the more than 190 events across Brighton and Hove brought in a combined audience of more than 56,000 – making Brighton Digital Festival one of the fastest growing digital culture festivals in Europe.
We are seeking a new Chair to lead the festival through the next exciting phase. The role of the Chair is to lead the organisation with support from the board, which is made up of businesses from across the creative sectors, and a year round staff team, currently consisting of Festival Director and Festival Coordinator.
