Brighton Digital Festival is delighted to announce it is seeking a Chair to support the strategy and development of the Festival as it embarks on an exciting new phase. This opportunity will see a new Chair to help steer the Festival Consortium and take a key roll in shaping the future of the Festival, which has grown from under 50 events in 2011 to over 160 in 2014, attracting an audience of 47,000 attendees.
The Chair will give support in ensuring that Brighton Digital Festival continues to grow, brining together the region’s thriving arts community and digital sector, and helping us to build our role as a successful international event.
Brighton Digital Festival is passionate about bringing amazing, unexpected events to the city in September, and this passion is mirrored in the community of event organiser’s who’re returned year after year to put on an outstanding programme of events. We want that same kind of passion for digital culture and drive for excellence to be embodied in our next Chair; someone who is as switched on and enthusiastic as the wonderful community that makes the Festival possible.
