Since 2011 Exploring Senses have been providing a range of opportunities for hands on making, combining simple basic materials like cardboard and toys with the latest digital technologies and electronics. From making and hacking cardboard cities by embedding them with digital technologies to workshops in 3D scanning, digital mutation, and 3D printing, these activities become vessels for communicating ideas, in turn teaching us how to collaborate through breaking and remaking.
We believe strongly in working collaboratively, amongst people outside of our social bubbles. That’s why for Brighton Digital Festival 2017 we’re bringing free, drop-in mobile maker labs to libraries outside the city centre, to visit communities and bring social action to your doorstep.
Join us in celebrating your inner creativity during #BDF17. Let’s make things together, share our ideas and enjoy the comedy of our creations. We are human beings, we already live in our own ‘Land of Make Believe’ bubbles. Let's burst the bubbles and make things together.
Check out our other Brighton Digital Festival events including the Seafront Archways Pop-Up maker lab and Jubilee Library exhibition.
