Website open for submissions and Grassroots funding announced

bdf_adminBlog

We are opening the site for event submissions from today, inviting local, national and international event organisers to officially register their events and be part of the UK’s largest celebration of digital culture. Just head to the Get Involved page and…get involved!

Independently produced events celebrating digital culture are at the heart of Brighton Digital Festival, and grants will be awarded to event organisers through the Grassroots Fund initiative. This year there are five awards of £500, which will support events that welcome those who face barriers to accessing arts and digital communities, enabling them to engage with the ideas and opportunities offered by BDF. To apply for Grassroots funding complete the online submission form, brightondigitalfestival.co.uk/grassroots-2016/ . Deadline for submissions is midnight on Sunday 24 July.
