Augmented Reality Sculpture Workshop at Phoenix Brighton with Leon Barker - 2014

Join us at Phoenix Brighton for an exciting two day workshop where you will learn how to create your own 3D virtual models using Maya software and create an augmented reality application using the games engine Unity3D

At Phoenix Brighton we are very proud to be hosting an exciting two day workshop with Leon Barker where you will learn how to create your own 3D virtual models using Maya software and create an augmented reality application using the games engine Unity3D. Please bring a laptop capable of running a trial version of Autodesk Maya 2014 as well as the free version of Unity3D. You should have basic computer literacy but no specialist skills are needed. Early booking recommended as places are very limited.

Leon Barker, Interaction Designer, Technologist and Artist, graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2003 after doing a Masters in Interaction Design and later gained a doctorate in Computer-Vision for Gesture Interaction at the University of Art London. For the past 4 years he has been working as a Research Fellow in the Interactive System department at the University of Sussex. Currently developing augmented reality mobile applications, whilst also conducting research into robot-human interaction using tools such as Motion-Analysis mocap systems, Kinect One, Oculus rift, 3Drobotic aerial drones and 3D printing technology. http://www.gesture-interactive.com/ginteractive/
