Design Brighton ‘talking digital’ event.
The event will focus on people using digital technology in interesting and creative ways and how the digital environment is changing the way creative people work.
As part of the Brighton Digital Festival, Design Brighton are hosting a ‘talking digital’ event. We have three excellent speakers who will be talking about their work, influences and experiences, as well as sharing their vision for the future. Each talk will be followed by a brief Q&A session. Speakers at the event will include:
BERG (Denise Wilton—Creative Director)
BERG is a design consultancy, working with companies to research and develop their technologies and strategy, primarily by finding opportunities in networks and physical things. Clients include the BBC, Bonnier, Absolut, Nokia, Ofsted, Channel 4, and The Guardian.

Crystal London (Ed Cookson—Project Director)
Ed Cookson is Project Director at the London branch of the global agency Crystal CG. After starting out with a long stint in the videogames industry, he moved on to co-create and direct his own BBC animation series, and founded The Sancho Plan, a collective fusing animation, music, gaming & technology to create live interactive audiovisual experiences. In 2010 Ed joined Crystal, the Official Digital Imaging Services Supplier for the London 2012 Games, leading the teams that delivered London 2012’s digital content. Ed will be talking about his work for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Opening and Closing ceremonies.

Sennep (Matt Rice—Creative Director)
Sennep is an interactive design studio that aims to bring a human touch to the digital world. They have expertise in interaction design, games, installations, mobile and apps. Clients include British Heart Foundation, Google, National Media Museum, Nike and Orange.
