With the help of the University of Brighton and Grant Cox of ArtasMedia, we’ll be showcasing new ways of bringing prehistoric Brighton to life -- from a VR recreation of an Iron Age settlement to animated models of woolly mammoths.
It will also be a chance to meet curator Andy Maxted, get up close with some pieces from our archaeology collection, and learn more about our new archaeology gallery that will open in Brighton Museum later this year.
Free with admission to Brighton Museum. Local residents can claim free admission with proof of address. See our website for details: https://brightonmuseums.org.uk/brighton/plan-your-visit/admission-charges/
Families, people who enjoy museums, those with a passion for prehistory, and anyone interested in how digital technology can bring the distant past to life.
