Are you considering making a short film? Have you made a short film and want to know how to use it to progress in your career? Come along to this event to find out what your short can do for you.

At this event run by FILM SHOW AND TELL, Ross Jameson and Hugh Fox of Pinkie Films will be talking about how to use your short film to progress in your career. They will be giving top tips on raising finance, getting an agent, and discussing the journey from shorts to features.

We will also be screening two of their most recent shorts. The first was supported by Creative England & BFI and is about to hit the festival circuit. The second is an independent production which was used to raise finances for a feature and has just premiered at Fright Fest in Leicester Square. After the screenings there will be an open Q&A.

Following this, there will be a chance to mingle and make new contacts. If you are looking to meet anyone in particular please get in touch so that we can help connect you.

This event is held at The FuseBox; there is no bar so please bring along a drink. There will be complimentary popcorn!

WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED IN COMING ALONG?

This event will be of interest to both new filmmakers and those who have already made a few shorts and are looking to move forward. It will be a great opportunity to watch a couple of short films and chat with their creators. There will also be a chance to make new contacts – don’t worry if you’re not a fan of networking, we’ll be on hand to help introduce you.
