Pop Up Meet Up – The rise of the pop-up: Let’s get digital, baby.
From touch-screen checkout and Kickstarter Shops to interactive clothing and responsive shop design, the high street is going digital. Find out how tech brands and businesses can make the most of short-term shops and bridge the gap between the real world and digital technology.
We Are Pop Up and Recreate Brighton & Hove invite you to join us for our next Pop Up Meet Up.
With the rise of smartphones, pop-up experiences, and a culture hungry for stories, the idea of a ‘shop’ and ‘the highstreet’ are changing, and fast. Technology- and web-based businesses have started developing a presences in the real world, and traditional brands are investing hundreds of millions on digital strategies.
In celebration and support of the Brighton Digital Festival 2013, we’re inviting a stellar series of speakers to The Fusebox. The discussion will focus on unexpected and new ways that technology and tech-integrated businesses are breaking boundaries and ushering the future of projects in space. We will aim to answer a number of questions by discussing current trends at the intersection of product, experiences and the blurring space between online and offline: How can creative digital and technology entrepreneurs make the most of a shop? How is technology facilitating new connections between consumers and the businesses they love? Does “paying with a Tweet” work? How do you log in to physical space?
