South East Dance and Brandwatch co-present a multi-screen digital exhibition that aims to capture the creative processes of choreographer, writer and performer Janine Harrington.
This installation reflects the way Janine’s choreographic, spatial and poetic thinking— in relationship with her collaborators— inspired her to create live, digital and filmed explorations of what properties dance might have if it were a screen saver.
We invite you to join artist Janine Harrington as she reflects on her work and what it’s been like to create an installation about her process. We will also hear from Cath James, Artistic Director of South East Dance, who will talk about the different ways they support dance artists to work with digital technology. The talk will be facilitated by South East Dance Dramaturg Lou Cope.
10 Oct at 6.30pm: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/screensaver-series-artist-talk-tickets-49285395946
Please note: The installation does not run on a set loop, so you can drop-in anytime between 6pm and 7:50pm. We suggest 10-15 minutes as your viewing time. You may experience a short wait if we are at capacity when you arrive.
