Bring in your iPhone, iPad or Android device for a mystery tour of Brighton using our free Story Drop app.

The Royal Pavilion & Museums holds thousands of objects in its collections, and they can all tell us stories about life in Brighton & Hove. We have partnered with local developer Surface Impression to produce Story Drop, a smartphone app that takes these stories beyond the walls of our museums.

For Story Drop we’ve taken the stories from some of our objects and scattered them across the city. Using your mobile phone and the Story Drop app, you can collect the stories in the places they might call home.

Pop into Brighton Museum & Art Gallery on Saturday 7 September between 11am and 3pm for a chance to meet some of the digital team at the Royal Pavilion & Museums , and the developers at Surface Impression. You can download the app, find out more about why we made it, and take part in an exclusive mystery tour! There will be prizes on offer for the first few people to complete the tour.
