The HR Digital Media Group was established by martin searle solicitors and Madgex and is backed by Wired Sussex. It welcomes business owners, HR managers, directors and employees responsible for personnel issues who work in the digital media sector.

The topic of September’s meeting will be the recent changes in employment law, where Fiona Martin will discuss:

  • The replacement of Compromise Agreements with Settlement Agreements - what’s changed?
  • The introduction of Employment Tribunal fees
  • The new statutory cap on Employment Tribunal payouts for unfair dismissal

Fiona will also be discussing the imminent changes to be brought in the autumn, such as:

  • New employee shareholder employment status
  • Changes to TUPE
