SPREADING THE WORD
Our best mechanism for spreading word and raising awareness of the festival is US! As organisers it’s going to be really important that, alongside your event, you mention and promote the festival so that we can raise awareness of the overall festival and the other events which are taking place throughout September. There are a few resources which can help:We’ve put together a pack of the BDF design assets – which might be useful when you are drawing together the promotion materials for your events. This pack has links to a number of resources including logos and can be found here:

As an open platform festival, BDF operates on a principle of presumed acceptance for all events, and guidelines are therefore minimal. However, the BDF volunteer steering group reserves the right to refuse acceptance into the festival programme. Organisers registering to the site will need to be authenticated.
