Flash Lit Fiction Cinema - 2014

Come to an experimental evening of live lit and flash fiction on screen!

Come to an experimental evening of live lit and flash fiction on screen at Phoenix Gallery’s Green Room.

We will be screening short films made by writers from around the world, reading or performing their own work. We will have a few short talks about literature & digital and a Q&A .

We are also hosting MechaPoet, a literature robot made by writer orbific and poet Chris Parkinson. Your hostess with the mostest is writer and producer Amy Zamarripa Solis.

Tickets are limited so booking early – 30 spaces max. Pay bar available on the night. We will be live streaming the event, check back to our website for more information.

Twitter Story Competition

As always, we will be running our annual Flash Lit Fiction Twitter story competition – to enter, tag your tweet with #FLF14 We will announce the winner at our event on Thursday 25 September via Facebook, Twitter and an email on Fri 26th to confirm final winners. All twitter stories entered will be published as a one-page broadside on our website along with your Twitter handle.

CINEMA

If you would like to enter your flash fiction film to be considered for the cinema screening, please email your film or Youtube link to [email protected] or [email protected].

All films must be under 3 minutes long.

Your film can be a performance, reading or something a bit more creative to bring your story to life.

No theme – it can be a flash fiction story or story excerpt.

We will email to let you know if your film has been selected for the screening or not. Unfortunately due to time, we probably won’t be able to show all of the films submitted but we will definitely try! All films submitted will be published via our Facebook, Twitter and website .
