Interactive installation merging Japanese Zen calligraphy and Western Digital Arts.

Kusho is a traditional Japanese Zen exercise where calligraphers write in the air using movements of their bodies. Kusho: written in the air is an interactive installation using motion capture and real-time rendering to create images based on human movement.

The installation has been moved from the University of Sussex to the Brighton Japan Festival where it will be shown as part of the Digital Playground.
