An interactive durational digital dance installation by Frédéric Deslias and Gael L (Le Clair Obscur) featuring French dancer Sandra Devaux.

Le Clair Obscur strives to explore issues related to Men and Machines, and is particularly taken with the way Man, thought, social organisation, and ways of acting and interacting are changed through the internet and information technology. The changes happen on different scales, from global to social, passing through intimacy, biology and neurons.

In Sleeping Beauty, French dancer Sandra Devaux, like a web 2.0 Sleeping Beauty, offers up her body in a glass­ coffin – watch her, interact, comment on what you’re seeing via Facebook, provoke a reaction, and see come to life digitally.
